Oven Baked Tempeh ( Whole Food Plant Based)

TEMPEH is a fermented soybean originated from Indonesia. It is a protein dense food. A good substitute for the vegans and vegetarians. It can helps in regulating glucose in the blood , prevent diabetes and act as a prebiotic.

Ingredients

  1. 200g  Tempeh ( cut into ½ inch inch)

 

  Paste

  1. 3 tbsp of curry powder
  2. 2 tbsp of coconut milk
  3. 1 tsp liquid amino
  4. 1 tsp Balsamic vinegar
  5. 1 tsp tsp of black pepper 
  6. Few tbsp of water to make it paste

Method

  1. Combine all the paste ingredients and marinate the tempeh for 10 minutes.
  2. Spread the tempeh on the baking pan and bake it for 15 minutes at  160 – 180 celcius
  3. Serve it warm with rice or make a sandwich with it.
